How many hours of training a week?

It depends on your ability, experience and goal race, generally expect the following:

Sprint and Olympic: 4 to 10 hours

T100 and 70.3: 6 to 14 hours

Ironman: 11 to 18 hours

Minimum equipment required includes:

  • A Training Peaks account (free)

  • A GPS watch with heart rate monitor

How many hours of training a week?

It depends on your ability, experience and goal race, generally expect the following:

T100 and 70.3: 8 to 15 hours
